Les quatres musiciens du Quatuor Hermione

— Since 2023, Paris

Four musicians. One shared artistic vision.

Trained at leading European conservatories, Fynn Marconnet, Christophe Jean, Antoine Bonnet, and Noah Langlais chose chamber music as a way of engaging in a direct conversation with their audience.

United by a shared pursuit of musical excellence.

Officially founded in 2023, the Hermione Quartet brings together four musicians who studied at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Bordeaux under Jean-Paul Minali-Bella. Together, they explored the great works of the string quartet repertoire, from Mozart and Beethoven to Dvořák and Brahms.

After moving to the Paris region to continue their higher musical studies, the musicians founded the Hermione Quartet. In 2024, the ensemble won the Rosenthal Ostinato Competition and organized its first summer tour across southwestern France. Building on this success, the quartet quickly expanded its artistic activity and received guidance from Olivier Charlier, Mi-sa Yang, and Jan Orawiec.

In April 2025, their encounter with the Tchalik Quartet marked an important milestone in their development, leading them to join the quartet’s class at the École Normale de Musique de Paris.

“Having the Tchalik Quartet as mentors is an extraordinary opportunity for us, and the musical conversations we share raise essential questions that deeply shape the way we make music.”

The Hermione Quartet has notably performed at the Salle Cortot and took part in the world premiere of composer Alexander Zhurbin’s clarinet quintet.

Deeply committed to making classical music accessible to the widest possible audience, the ensemble accompanies its concerts with extensive outreach and educational work and has served, since 2024, as the artistic director of the Festival du Château d’Estrac. In 2026, the quartet embarks on its first national tour across France’s major cities.

An Artistic Guideline

The Hermione Quartet is not only a demanding and high-level ensemble, but also an active contributor to initiatives dedicated to cultural outreach and the sharing of classical music.

Notre approche

The concert hall as a space of musical communion.

Every concert is a statement: chamber music unfolds in the same room as you, without distance or ceremony. This is a deliberate choice, not a compromise.
